Akwaah’s Kitchen is a microcosm of the African and Caribbean cuzine and a reflection of its diversity.

The concept is the brainchild of Nana who noted a lack of good authentic eateries that specialized within the African and Caribbean food sector. The concept was developed over a year period with the assistance of a number of individuals who shared the same passion and vision.

The research identified that there was a natural need to create the restaurant concepts together with a hospitality offering. This heralded the birth of the following:-

Catering for top-end private and corporate events

Akwaah’s Kitchen family, in a recent independent Mystery Shopper survey, scored 100% in its overall performance.

 

Social Enterprise:

An integral part of  Akwaah’s Kitchen ethos is to engage with local schools and other community groups, including providing work experience for young people and hosting cultural events which promote Afro Caribbean culture.

The Akwaah’s Kitchen continues to strive for excellence for good Afro Caribbean food and now that the template has been established the brands; Akwaah’s Kitchen intends to roll-out the concept throughout the UK and Europe, with visions of eventually going worldwide.  Due to the rising speciality food market, in particular African, Caribbean, and oriental.
